A succesful outdoor

No matter where you are in creating your perfect outdoor space, we have a number of services to help you turn inspiration and dreams into reality.

Consultation

Where we start

Every design begins with a consultation for us to meet and assess the space, take pictures, discuss your needs and ideas, as well as share some thoughts and initial suggestions. This is typically done at the project site but, for clients outside of Mobile and Baldwin County, we can request pictures of your space in advance and setup a virtual meeting.

Should you move forward with one of our plans, this consultation fee will be deducted from the cost of your plan.

Consultation Price: $275

The Design process

FAQs

What should I expect the design process to look like?

First, we meet on the job site to discuss your ideas, style, budget, and a timeline/phasing for the implementation of the project (one hour consultation). Then, we gather all documents necessary (site plan, survey, inspiration photos) to produce a preliminary sketch to convey how the overall design will flow. Once we have decided on the overall layout, we move forward to the final plan which will include specific colors/style of pavers and other hardscape, names and sizes of plants, square footage of new patios/decks, etc. We adjust the plan until it's just right, then bid out the project to three companies to find the best fit to install your plan. Once we settle on the right contractor and work out the details, the design team will observe construction while the plan is being installed to insure it all goes according to your design vision.

How long does the design process take?

The design process can be as little as a few weeks up to a few months, depending on the project and its complexity.

I don't know any contractors. Can you help me find one to install my design?

As designers, we are your advocate, and work for you and what's best for your job. We do not receive any compensation from contractors in exchange for our recommendations. We can refer landscape contractors and other sub contractors based on our own experiences; however, we are not responsible for their work.

Will you be on the job site for the entire installation?

If you choose to hire us for Observation of Construction included, we will be on the job site for key points of the installation, but not for every part of the install. Even though we may not be on the job site all day every day, we are in constant contact with you and the contractor to assure that your installation runs smoothly and that you’re updated with pertinent information as the project progresses.
